The concept of "body" has been evolved, surpassing a mere physiological structure to encompass culture, spirit, and faith. This shift signifies two ways we comprehend the world: the innate passive constitution and acquired active cognition. In this exhibition, we explore mysticism, viewing "Relics" and "lchor" as organs of this broader "body."

The artists, from their unique perspectives, engaged with different catalysts through their misconceptions, rituals, self-soothing, prayers, and faith. They sought the flowing, cyclic order within their works, exploring the "Relics" and "lchor" as organs of this broader "body."

My image contributions include:
  • the poster I designed
  • the installation of my exhibition space
  • a selection of my exhibited works

For the exhibition "Relics and Ichor," I decided to utilize my previous sculpture, "Brain in a Vat," as the central visual motif of the poster. This choice was intentional, as the controlled—or perhaps fictional—brain aligns perfectly with our theme of "Relics," representing a "Body without Organ." The vat's fluid and the effervescent bubble effect resonate with "Ichor," symbolizing the fluid essence of life and spirit that flows through us all.

Additionally, I incorporated grid elements into the background of the poster to echo my previous works, while also showcasing the visual impact of graphic design. This integration of grids not only ties back to my artistic signature but also enhances the poster’s overall aesthetic, making it more striking and thought-provoking. The concept of the exhibition revolves around an evolved understanding of the "body," which now transcends mere physical structures to include cultural, spiritual, and faith-based dimensions. This shift highlights two ways of comprehending the world: through innate passive constitution and acquired active cognition. "Relics and Ichor" are seen as vital organs of this broader "body," exploring mysticism and the deeper connections that define our existence. Through this poster, I aimed to visually capture and communicate these complex themes, inviting viewers into a world where art and mysticism intertwine to reveal new insights into our collective human experience.
